Reformer & Apparatus Pilates in Manhattan | Classical Equipment Training in NYC

Private 1:1 sessions at the Inwood studio, your home or building gym, provided a reformer is available

Classical Pilates equipment offers a more expansive movement experience than mat work alone. The Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels supports your body as it learns, making it ideal for rehabilitation, strength building, and refining movement patterns. Sessions are fully private and tailored to your level, held at a private Inwood studio. Travel sessions are available for clients with a Reformer at home or in their building gym, subject to a travel fee.

All new clients begin with a brief phone or video consultation before their first session.

Mini FAQ

Not necessarily. Apparatus work can be a great starting point, especially for clients with injuries or physical limitations. Your instructor will assess your readiness.

Sessions are available at your home or building gym — provided you have access to equipment. Contact to discuss options.

No. These are fully private sessions using classical Pilates equipment. There are no classes or groups. You work one-on-one with your instructor.

Classical Pilates apparatus work is well-suited to rehabilitation. The spring support can reduce load on the joints while still creating productive movement. Always consult your healthcare provider.
